Two Point Six Challenge to help save UK Charities!

You may have seen the recent #Invictus20to21 challenge going around the community, this time we’re joining the new #twopointsixchallenge as part of a huge collective effort to support charities during the Covid19 lockdown and we need your help!

This is a difficult time for organisations, including charities that rely on donations from large events such as the London Marathon, which was due to take place on Sunday 26th April.

Due to the current restrictions, the London Marathon are instead encouraging all their runners to do 2.6miles (a tenth of the full marathon distance) on 26 April 2020, or another sporting activity related to 2.6, and we’re asking if you could help them and show how the Invictus Community can keep active and help give back at this time.

We would love it if our supporters could, on or around Sunday 26 April, use the opportunity of the London Marathon #twopointsixchallenge to do an activity relating to 2.6 – and even better if that activity in some way relates to an Invictus Games sport…

This could be a 2.6 mile run, or a 26k bike ride, shoot 26 basketball hoops, 26 powerlifts, or 26 minutes of indoor rowing! Another event this year that was cancelled was our friends at the Major League Baseball London Series, so why not do 26 pitches and catches?

Once the activity is completed, you could then either donate here: or create your own fundraising page here: and ask your wider friends and family to support you! We know it’s financially challenging at the moment, but the donations could be as little as £2.60, which all adds up.

We’ve created some assets for you, that might help with you on social media including a poster you can print off and fill in:

If you choose to do a run, cycle or swim then do also add yourself to the Invictus Games Foundation Strava Club here:
