Swiss ‘In Remembrance’ concert to be held in aid of the Invictus Games Foundation

The Invictus Games Foundation is very grateful to share that the British Residents’ Association of Switzerland is hosting a concert on the 9th November to raise money for the Foundation, whilst commemorating the 80th Anniversary of the outbreak of the Second World War in 1939 and the 75th Anniversary of the D-Day Landings in Normandy in 1944 to start the liberation of Western Europe.

The concert this November will be held at the magnificent Rosey Concert Hall in Rolle, Switzerland and will feature the Brass Band Arquebuse, one of Switzerland’s leading bands directed by Jean-Pierre Chevailler, the Power of Lemania Pipe Band in full Highland regalia led by Pipe Major Ari Spassov, and the “In Remembrance Choir” led by Kirsty Griffiths.

Brigadier Richard Smith, CBE, the Invictus Games Foundation Operations Director, will be in attendance from the UK to open the concert which will be narrated by Major General Roderick Porter, MBE.
