The Duke of Sussex, Patron of the Invictus Games Foundation, announced that the sixth Games – to be held in September 2023 – will be hosted in Düsseldorf, Germany.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Invictus Games Foundation announced in 2020 that the Invictus Games The Hague and Düsseldorf will both be delayed by a year to accommodate the lockdown guidelines. The Invictus Games Düsseldorf will now take place between 9th – 16th September, 2023.
The Invictus Games Düsseldorf 2023 will bring together over 500 competitors from 20 nations to compete in a series of adaptive sports. Events will be held in and around the Arena Sportspark over the course of a week, with further details to be announced.
