Be ‘Powered by Invictus’ and RideLondon virtually!

Are you a regular cyclist? Or have you discovered the joy of cycling during lockdown? Why not use your hobby to make a difference by joining Team Invictus and taking on the virtual Prudential RideLondon this summer?

What is My Prudential RideLondon?

For two days each year, Prudential RideLondon, the world’s greatest festival of cycling, takes place across London and Surrey. The event has always been hugely popular, but like many events this year it has unfortunately had to be cancelled due to the Coronavirus pandemic which has had a devastating impact on charity fundraising.

At the Invictus Games Foundation, like many other charities, we’ve had to cancel many of our fundraising events, but we’ve seen some brilliant virtual fundraising efforts so far by our wonderful supporters to help us.

Today we are asking you to be ‘Powered by Invictus!’ and use your bike, scooter, skateboard, trikes – in fact any form of non-motorised wheeled transport and join Team Invictus for the virtual: My Prudential RideLondon.

The virtual My Prudential RideLondon takes place on the 15 and 16 August 2020. You can ride on one or both days.

With your fundraising page set up, let people know you are a part of Team Invictus and inspire them to donate to your page.

Spread the word about being ‘Powered by Invictus!’

We want to get as many people as possible involved with this event to help us support more international wounded, injured and sick Service personnel and veterans, so please nominate and encourage your friends and family to become part of Team Invictus too!

Downloadable certificates and selfie frames!

Once you’ve finished and your challenge has been tracked by the app, you’ll be able to download and print your personalised finisher certificate. You can also use selfie frames to create your own finisher photographs in the spectacular setting of The Mall, the normal finish of Prudential RideLondon.

Your supporters can track your ride

Your family and friends can track your progress on your challenge in real time by following you on the app. It will show your position on the actual Prudential RideLondon course as if you were riding on the roads of London and Surrey.

We look forward to welcoming you into Team Invictus and we hope you will enjoy being a part of the world’s biggest festival of cycling! With your help we can continue to raise funds to ensure international wounded injured and sick Service personnel and veterans rediscover their purpose, identity and future through sports. Thank you!
