Applications for Media Accreditation at the 2016 Invictus Games Now Open

The Invictus Games Orlando 2016 Organising Committee today announced that applications for media accreditation at the 2016 Invictus Games are now open.

The Invictus Games Orlando 2016 will take place from 8 – 12 May 2016 at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida.

Founded by Prince Harry the Invictus Games is the only international adaptive sporting event for wounded, injured and sick Servicemen and women, both serving and veterans. The Games use the power of sport to inspire recovery, support rehabilitation and generate a wider understanding and respect of all those who serve their country as well as their families and caregivers.

Over 500 competitors from 15 nations will take part in the 2016 Invictus Games, presented by Jaguar Land Rover. They will compete in archery, cycling, indoor rowing, power lifting, sitting volleyball, swimming, track and field, wheelchair basketball, wheelchair rugby and wheelchair tennis.
